You can even make a lot of gold with professions like Herbalism and mining but you cannot take up the two simultaneously as they share the minimap. Thus, you would have to take up skinning as the other profession. It is very important that you find out new professions that would fetch gold without much hassle as there is no use in sticking to professions that do not provide the right amount of gold. This is the reason why it is also important to keep a tab of the things going on in the AH. This is the place where all the trade takes place; hence, it is required that you look for the items that are selling the most. Now find from your server whether the demand for the same is high or not.
